yea, that would probably sound way better, but I try to keep the focus on the drum by making it complicated but making everything else as simple as possible. thanks for the advice tho, appreciate it! :D

It's actually pretty easy. you take the amen break (its very popular) pitch it up one semitone, and then chop it up a ton. its used in a lot of drum n bass, breakcore, and jungle music. you should def check it out. I recommend Dom & Roland. Glad you like it! :DDDD
